Abstract:	Case study on the transition of higher-education graduates from the institutions of higher education to the world of work in the Sudan. The study addresses key issues such as the evolution of higher education in recent years as a response to the changing needs of Sudanese society, students' choices in higher education and their performance, the insertion of students into working life, the matching of students' qualifications with job requirements on the one hand, and of students' expectations and their achievements on the other, and the functioning of the labour market, with special reference to the selection criteria for graduate workers and methods of recruitment.
