| Abstract: | Between 25 September and 3 October 1989, the Centre for the Study of Education in Developing Countries (CESO) in The Hague, the Institut universitaire d'études du développement (IUED) in Geneva, and the École nationale d'économie appliquée in Dakar, Senegal, organized a workshop in Dakar on apprenticeship policies and practices in West Africa and Europe. The aim was to stimulate a dialogue between artisans, teachers, researchers and policymakers on education and training in the (informal) crafts sector. This report gives an impression of the workshop. |
