| Abstract: | The objectives of this report, which is based on data collected during 1984 and 1986, is threefold: 1) to present an up-to-date analysis of the rapidly deteriorating situation of the Zambian economy; 2) to draw a picture of the Zambian economy as a background for a project on the fabrication of copper semiproducts in the country; 3) to make preliminary calculations of the macroeconomic costs of the major input categories (foreign exchange, capital, wages) in production processes in Zambia. |
