Abstract:Directory of 245 nongovernmental scientific and engineering societies in sub-Saharan Africa, organized in three parts: regional societies, subregional societies, and national societies (Cameroon, Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe). Within each part, entries are listed alphabetically. Each entry may contain the following: name and address, subdivisions, affiliations, history, membership, type of society, goals and objectives, publications, meetings.
