| Abstract: | Egypt's Economic and Social Development Plan 1993-1994 represents the second year of the third five-year plan (1992/93-1996/97) and is designed in line with the main dimensions of the overall plan. The main economic variables and policies in the 1993-1994 plan concern the global economic environment and methods of adjustment; the domestic economic environment and means of exerting a sound impact on the dominant conditions; the plan's general economic equilibrium (uses and resources); and overall economic variables (investment, output, population and employment, consumption, dealing with the outside world). |
