Ahmed (groundwater problems and salinity levels of Kano River Project); Segun Famoriyo (environmental effects of irrigation); J.S.O. Ayeni, Wolf Roder and J.O. Ayanda, Are Kolawole and O.A. Bamisaye (three papers on resettlement, including case studies of Kainji Lake and the Ijegu-Yala project); J.A. Ijere, Agnes F. Odejide, and J.A. Aremu and S.A. Ogunwale (three papers on the impact of irrigation projects on the socioeconomic environment, with case studies of Borno and Yobe States, the Lower Benue RBDA, and northern Nigeria); S.B.
