Contributions: Adetoye Faniran (effects of irrigation projects on Nigeria's environment); Olusegun Ekanade (effects of agricultural mechanization on soil patterns); A. Ahmed (groundwater problems and salinity levels of Kano River Project); Segun Famoriyo (environmental effects of irrigation); J.S.O. Ayeni, Wolf Roder and J.O. Ayanda, Are Kolawole and O.A. Bamisaye (three papers on resettlement, including case studies of Kainji Lake and the Ijegu-Yala project); J.A. Ijere, Agnes F. Odejide, and J.A. Aremu and S.A. Ogunwale (three papers on the impact of irrigation projects on the socioeconomic environment, with case studies of Borno and Yobe States, the Lower Benue RBDA, and northern Nigeria); S.B. Ayo, Prachanda Pradhan and V. Kumar (three papers on commercialization of RBDA activities in the case of the Niger Delta Basin Development Authority and the Kano River Irrigation Project); Alh.
