Abstract: | The article contains many quotations of the papers submitted to the International Conference on South West Africa which was held at Oxford from 23rd to 26th March, 1966. These quotations give an idea of the disgraceful situation in South West Africa during German rule between 1904 and 1914 and the mandate of South Africa after the First World War. The author hopes that the views which went on record during the Conference will come to influence the political decisions which will have to be made when the International Court of Justice will pronounce its judgement on South Africa. |
