Abstract:In this review article the author gives some supplements on: Vente, R. 'Planning Processes: the East African case. Munich 1970. IFO Institute for African Studies, Study no. 52. Vente's decision process is to a large extent limited to the functional analysis of the planning process. Such an analysis requires an integrated theoretical framework that can throw up hypotheses and that can be used to test current notions on the planning process. This neglected aspect is presented in this article. Notes.
