Abstract: | On account of a decision of the High Court two points are raised, namely: 1. Did the Second Republican Constitution of 1969 confer jurisdiction over chieftaincy disputes in the High Court? 2. Does an information in the nature of quo warranto proceedings lie to restrain a chief from purporting to act as much? Both questions are discussed in the article. Notes. |
