| Abstract: | The Federal and the three Regional Governments in Nigeria have issued their Development Plans for 1962-1968. All are part of a single 'National Plan'. All the plans are summarised in this series of five articles. The first article deals with the expenditure envisaged in the Nigerian National Plan and its object. This is followed by a summary of the capital expenditure programme and the main aims of the federal plan. This summary is concluded in the second article. The third article deals with the Eastern Regional Plan, the fourth with the Northern Plan, and the fifth with the Western Region.
