Abstract:The aim of the study is the role of the Knights of Marshall as a voluntary association in the changing Ghanaian society. The association was founded by a group of young Catholic men in 1925. After a description of the nature and structure, objectives, membership, spiritual and material aspects, the author concludes that the Knights of Marshall functions as a Voluntary Association: it helps its members materially, socially, educationally and religiously.
