Abstract:Dance is a Space-Time Art form since it employs the use of both spatial and temporal patterns in expressing ideas and emotions in time and space by the use of movements disciplined by rythm of sound, locomotion and body-movements. The manifestations of the African Dance can be classified under two main headings: 1) Ceremonial Dances, 2) Recreational or Social Dances.
