Abstract: | Account of the plebiscite on Febr. 11 1961, the day on which voters of both Northern and Southern Cameroons went to the polls to decide whether to join Nigeria or the Cameroon Republic. The S.Cameroons voted in favour of integration with the Republic (181.464 votes; 46.250 votes for joining Nigeria) and the N.Cameroons in favour of continuing as a province in the N.
