Abstract: | (Condensed article, from 'Adult Education'. Spring, (1958) In the Federation of Central Africa the situation with regard to adult education is confused. Voluntary associations, industrial undertakings and government realiza the problem but are hesitant to take tile necessary steps towards education of adults for fear of too sudden awakening undermining existing security. The author indicates the need for a strong movement to promote adult education and describes an experiment with week-end courses of an educational na ture held at St. Faith's Mission, Rusape. |
