| Abstract: | This report looks at the issue of pensions as it affects black people in South Africa. The first section looks at the conditions faced by black pensioners. These conditions are measured against certain standards and criteria. The next section looks at how access to power, access to resources and the level of consumption affect the situation. The third section looks at the response to the situation. The final section looks at ways in which the community can act on its own behalf and at what correction procedures exist. |
