Abstract: | During the past decade, the ILO promoted a (neo) dualistic concept of a segmented urban labour market in developing countries, with focus on the so-called 'informal sector'. The investigations of private small-scale garages in Bamenda form an additional empirical element that supplements previous studies. The economic problems of the garages in Bamenda are analysed and their economic situation indicated. Map, tab. |
