Abstract: | Brief discussion on the economic cooperation between Poland and African countries. Examined are: a) trade relacions, b) other forms of cooperation (main emphasis on credits, technical assistance, training of specialists). The statiatics presented refer to North Africa (Algeria Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, Sudan, Tunisia) and Central Africa (Cameroon, Congo-Kinshasa, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Uganda). Period surveyed; 1966-1970. After some introductory remarks drawing attention to institutional and historic facts follows explanation of statistical data on which the comments presented are based. Finally conclusions are drawn and future development prospects of Polish-African relations are suggested. Notes, tables. |
