| Abstract: | Aim is to record, on the local scale, the character of agriculture in a small part of West Cameroons and indicate the recent changes that have taken place in agriculture within the area. The study is concerned with a part of the Bagango Valley of the Bamenda Highlands where the subsistence economy has been modified by the introduction of coffee growing on peasant holdings.
