Abstract: | Idd et Tin artesian flowing well is the first of its kind in the Sudan. Dissociating carbon dioxide gas is the cause of artesianity. The presence of magnesium sulphate in its water was the cause of diarrhoea that affected the people who drank it for medical purposes. The study of Idd et Tin well log and its comparison with others in the area revealed the presence of a post-Tertiary fault. Red., tab., fig. |
