Abstract:The policy of indigenization is now with us. The Nigerian Enterprises Promotion Decrees encourage Nigerians to participate in our economic growth. Even though the NEPD require indigenous 'equite participation' in Foreign-owned companies, it is questionable how much of a voice we will really have in these companies without a firm operational knowledge of the intricacies of business and managerial skills. Using an analytical example of the study and implementation of a successful Management Resource Centre Technique, this article provides educational authorities, both in the public and the private sectors, with a business and managerial training tool that could be economically employed to remedy identified deficiencies on an in-service basis. Graphic illustrations on how to establish and operate the programme are included. Notes, tables, exhibits.
