Abstract: | The objectives of the law of agrarian reform of 1952 were: 1) the breaking up of the political and economic power of the rich landlords, 2) improving the living conditions of farm people, 3) transferring capital from agriculture to industry, 4) improving the agricultural productivity. To achieve these objects the following measures were undertaken: land limitation and distribution - regulation of tenancy relations - fixing of minimum wages of agricultural workers - formation of supervised cooperatives.
