| Abstract: | On account of a protest march in Ilorin town, capital of Kwara State, against the provision of the Land Tenure Law 1962 concerning requisition of land for public purpose without compensation except for certain stated categories of improvements thereon, the author makes his objections to this provision. He advises to give serious consideration to the amendment of the Law in two respects (Prohibition of alienation without the consent of the relevant local authorities only to non-Nigerians and paying compensation for deprivation of land).
