Abstract:Measures have been taken intended to promote receipts of foreign exchange through authorized channels, as being induced by the application of incentive rates for savings of nationals working abroad as well as for tourism expenditure, and the alleviation of exchange control procedures culminating to the practical abolishment of the Central Exchange Control Dept. and the assignment of its role to commerical banks under the supervision of the Central Bank.
