Abstract:In particular the aim of this study is to see whether there appears to be a shift towards norms associated with: child rearing and education, polygyny and procreation, financial responsibility and decisions, inheritance, and residence, with increasing generations of education. The result is that there is a marked difference in the views of the first, second and third generation educated people: an increase in approval of closed nuclear family norms is correlated with increasing generations of education.
