| Abstract: | Given the perceived anomaly that Nigeria's failure to solve her manpower problem has not been occasioned by the more usual constraints of financing capacity, the issue of manpower has remained the hottest economic issue in the nation's economic and governmental circles. The task of this paper is basically three-fold: 1) to put this man power question in a more realistic perspective within the factual and empirical context of present-day Nigeria's conditions; 2) to attempt to locate the sources of such problems or difficulties; 3) to suggest some ways of tackling them.
