Abstract:Proposing a new model for a crosscultural analysis and prediction of job satisfaction, and using multiple regression analysis, this paper attempts to show if sex, age, marital status, number of dependents (that is, children born to a husband and wife, including other members of the extended family such as aged father, mother, junior brothers and sisters, excluding those who are already married), length of service in present position, years of formal education, and work experience acquired by working in a field related to area of highest academic achievement, would explain a significant amount of variance in job satisfaction. The aim of this study is to refine the existing methods of job attitudes research. App., notes, ref.
