Abstract: | The author has already reported on Dourou agriculture in 'The Swidden Crops and the Planting Pattern of Dourou Agriculture' (Kyoto Univ. Afr. St., 8 (1973), p. 93-115). In the present report, based on field work in 1969/70, he deals with the aspects of village community, especially the functions of households, extended families, and small groups of the Dourou farmers.
