Abstract:Opening Address to the ACP-EEC Workshop (22-24 January 1976, University of Ghana) in which the (late) Head of the Department of Economics, University of Ghana, investigates the co-operation between European and African states. Beginning with the Treaty of Rome, he relates the Yaoundé Conventions of 1963 and 1969 with the ACP-EEC Convention of Lomé, Februari 28, 1975, paying attention to the provisions of the Lomé Convention especially with regard to Ghana.
