Abstract: | It can be expected that in the long run the BLS countries (Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland) will gradually become less dapendent on their trade with the Republic of South Africa by strengthening their economic contrcts with the EEC and the Black African states. Basically, however, the strong economical links between the countries of Southern Africa will continue.
