Abstract:Describes the attitudes towards and the treatment of the Ethopian aristrocracy by the Italian authorities during the occupation of 1937-1940. In the first years the Ethopian nobles were considered as enemies, witch resulted within two years in the internment of the Ethopian aristocracy in concentration camps in Italy, Eritrea and Somalia. Later attempts were made to involve them in the administration of the country. Notes, tables.
