| Abstract: | The primary motivation for the present study had its foundation in an effort of the author to solve both conceptual and operational problems connected with the strategies of fostering creativity. The differential effectiveness of synectics and the brainstorming creativity training strategies on the ideative fluency of adolescents was investigated. The paper is essentially a report of the findings of the experimental investigation. The study sheds some light on the issues of the differential efficacy of synectics and brainstorming creativity training strategy in dyadic and triadic groups. It essentially answers questions concerning the ways synectics and brainstorming creativity training strategies determine ideative fluency in small groups of Nigerian adolescents. Fig., ref., sum.
