Abstract: | It is a moot point whether and to what extent the grant of patents for inventions helps in; the transfer of technology and industrialization of developing countries. In this paper the author looks at the traditional patent laws and he sees what modifications are necessary to make these laws meet the needs and aspirations of developing countries. The discussion is at three levels: national, regional and international. It is followed by a commentary. Notes. |
