| Abstract: | Taking for granted, that Egypt has the necessary potentialities for industry and that such industry will materially participate in raising the standard of living of the Egyptian population, the author considers in this article the possibilities of providing capital for future industries. He concludes that a policy of wide industrialisation needs: - 1) an initial push that sets it moving; 2) a national policy of industrialisation based on a thorough appraisal of Egyptian resources; 3) a national policy of saving. |
