| Abstract: | In his statement on distributive trades in Nigeria, the Minister of economic development has made it clear that the government wants to reserve the country's distributive trades for Nigerians, and to eliminate the expatriate firms. The author admits that a reform oft the existing system is needed, but he states that too little is known at present about the distributive machinery. In this article he attempts to consider a few of the relevant questions and alternative lines of policy. |
