Abstract:Education has developed a good deal since 1946. Then there were only 15 Government and Native Authority primary schools, and a number of voluntary agency schools, in 1957 there are about a hundred, and there has been a corresponding increase in the numbers of voluntary agency schools But there is less spontaneous demand for schools now. Increasing numbers of girls go to school. Stress on school gardens.
