Abstract: | Any technique that improves recall - one of the three important stages of learning - will improve learning. Hence this study is concerned with finding a solution to poor learning (symptomatised in examination malpractices) by finding which teaching technique will improve the recall ability of the Nigerian children best. It has not been empirically established which of the two techniques - 'Question Teaching Technique', and 'Anecdotic Teaching Technique' - improves the recall performance of learners better, hence this study is geared towards finding the comparative recall effectiveness of these two teaching techniques using some Nigerian Primary One pupils aged between 6 and 7 years.
