Abstract: | The identification of sources and characteristics of African military intervention could make an important addition to the general knowledge of military intervention. The present research is a revised step addressing the task of systematically isolating sources of military intervention in independent Africa Attempted is to account for military intervention by using a variety of internal variables. Focus is upon the nation-state as a level of analysis. Attempted is to measure similarities and differences which may serve to help explain the intervention pattern of some African countries. - Notes, sum. in French and German, tab. |
