Abstract: | The issue in the struggle going on in Nigeria is the survival of the 'African possibility' which has not been realized in the years since formal independence began to characterize the territories below the Sahara. As yet, there has been no African revolution: the country remains in vassalage. Politically, economically, and socially, Biafra has the potential to become the first viable state in Black Africa and the crystallizing center abound which a modern Africa could build itself. The essential key to a solution of the present impasse is to extend the protection of political sovereignty to all Easterners. |
