Abstract: | The Tabwa inshimi tradition is composed of two sets of elements. The first is the traditional store of images and plots which exists in the communal memory. The second is the various techniques used to externalize these images and plots in performance. In actuality, there can be no separation of the traditional images and plots, and the performances which actualize them, but in this article, which focuses on the elements of performance, they are divided for descriptive purposes. - Notes. |
