Abstract:The author noticed an increasing number of publications on African pastoral concern with regard to the problems of witchcraft, sorcery and spirit possession. This article makes the documentation material available at the Interuniversity Institute for Missiological and Ecumenical Research, Leiden-Utrecht, accessible. The author deliberately opted for a rather pragmatic approach, which means that she concentrated as much as possible on examples of and suggestions for a new or renewed African pastoral approach.
