Abstract:The Kal Tamacheq of the Niger Bend raise mainly horned cattle, sheep, goats, and camels. Camels are used primarily as a means of transportation. The author discusses milk and milk by-products, skins, hides, and meat, sales on regional and foreign markets, and indicates some problems and perspectives.
