| Abstract: | This study aims fundamentally to analyse the demographic characters and structures of the various ethnic elements integrating the non-native population of Moçambique. The analysis, concerning the period from 1928 to 1954, defines the past and tendential relative position of the White, Yellow, Indian, Mixed and Negro nucleuses, as well as their role played by physiologic and migratory movements in the varation of their respective numbers. Also object of analysis are; the demographical structure the reproductively level, the geographical distribution, the economic and cultural characters of each one of these ethnical elements. Tables. |
