Abstract:Over the years a substantial number of publications has been devoted to the traditionary tales of the Khoisan-speaking peoples of southern Africa. The student in search of sources discovers a considerable number of promising titles, but quite often he finds himself convinced that he has read items in them before but cannot be sure where. This list provides two-way cross-references to original and secondary sources, in order to know which of the sources represent first-hand observations and recordings.
