Abstract:Okot p'Bitek (1931-1982), an Acoli of Uganda, was one of Africa's most prominted poets. This checklist is divided into two main sections. Section A is on works by p'Bitek himself. These include his published books, essays, letters to editors, fiction, poetry, translations, interviews, and so on. Section B is on works about p'Bitek: books, essays, articlrs, reviews of books, and interviews in which others have talked about him. Unpublished materials such as theses and conference papers have also been listed. - Bibliogr.
