Bibliographical material included in this bibliography is drawn all major fields of research, with the emphasis on Sukuma society. Important review articles and bibliographies in other disciplines have been included, although technical terms have been omitted; however, very few items have been deliberately excluded. Published material, including government reports and student dissertations, has been included, but newspaper articles have not. Several periodic reports of official agencies are listed. The majority of entries are in English, with a few in German and French. Kisukuma and Kiswahili publications have not been included. The bibliography contains a total of 525 entries arranged in alphabetical order of author's names. A subject index is also included. |
