Abstract:Experience elsewhere indicates that sorghum yields could be substantially increased and stabilized by growing hybrids. In the Sudan, hybrid sorghum is expect to be both feasible and successful. It is therefore suggested that it is high time to start an accelerated project for the development of commercial hybrid sorghum in the Sudan. Ref.
