| Abstract: | At the invitation of Jomo Kenyatta, heads of State or ministers from 11 countries of East and Central Africa (Burundi, Congo (Kinshasa), Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Ruanda, the Somali rep., the Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia) met in Nairobi fro, 31/3-2/4-1966 to discuss methods of achieving closer co-operation. The 3 principal items were: the promotion of good-neighbourly relations, the strenghtening of African unity and the decolonisation of Africa, with special emphasis on the Rhodesian question. Support for the OAU - Hostile propaganda - Refugee activities - Economic co-operation - Decolonisation. |
