Abstract: | Assessment of the relative responsibility of missionary and indigenous leadership in the development of the Anglican Church in Ghana during the years 1905-1924, and in the sphere of the continuing leadership of congregations once they had been founded. In addition, some of the major factors which can be seen to have been creating the patterns of indigenous and missionary leadership which formed Ghanaian Anglicanism between 1905 and 1924 are explored, both in Ghana itself, and in Britain, the missionaries' home base.
