Abstract: | R.C. Mitchell's research into the question of healing in the Aladura churches dates from 1971. Since that time Nigerian society has seen much change and development. The purpose of this short article is to examine whether the role and function of the Aladura churches with regard to healing has altered in the light of these societal changes. An attempt is also made to supplement certain aspects of Mitchell's study with findings from the present writer's own research. Notes. |
