Abstract: | In a study undertaken in Atteridgeville, Pretoria, 1548 Bantu women were interviewed by Family Planning Adviser to motivate them to visit a family planning clinic. More than half of the women attended the clinic for contraceptives after motivation which indicates that person-to-person motivation by advisers is an effective motivational aid in a family planning campaign.
